iReport on CNN
John and I were interviewed at the Marriage Equality Rally last night at 6th & Laurel by an iReporter for CNN, before marching downtown to the Hall of Justice… our interview is about 3/4 of the way through the video. The reporter was interviewing couples.

I am so sorry to hear about the decision in California. I think it is amazing that a civil right can still be taken from people in this day. It isn’t about a sexual orientation, it is about Freedom, Justice and Equality. Crazy how an orientation never gets us off the hook from paying taxes, right…
Anyways, I respect you both for standing up for your rights, our rights!

We just have to keep on fighting thats all! Keep the spirits high and we will overcome this feat. Moreover, one day the younger generations are going to question what was the big deal about letting a man and a man get married. That is what I keep on using to fight because one day the older conservative religious sect will be a minority. I am truly waiting to see this shift come true. AMEN!
